FITNESS CLASSES

 

COVID-19 has had a major impact on the delivery of fitness Classes in England.  Please check my COVID-19 page for more details.

 

CURRENTLY, I ONLY HAVE ONE CLASS AVAILABLE.

 

* FRESH AIR FITNESS | SEDBERGH

 

Looking for great results with maximum fun? Like the idea of training outside the constraints of 4 walls? Then Fresh Air Fitness | Sedbergh is for you.  Expect a workout that will boost your metabolism and help you reach your health and fitness goals in a positive, social and motivating environment. 

 

The Fresh Air Fitness programme uses a minimum of equipment and is designed so everyone can challenge themselves -whatever their fitness ability.


Employing a range of natural bodyweight and movement orientated exercises combined with some resistance work, this class will target cardio, upper, lower and core strength, balance and coordination!

 

Why not give it a try?

 

Currently, sessions are scheduled for Monday evenings at 6pm* and are held on the open ground to the rear of Sedbergh People's Hall on Howgill Lane. (Adjacent to the playing Field). Please meet in the car park, keeping social distancing.

 

Each session will last around 50 minutes. Due to weather and COVID-19 operational guidelines I need to know numbers attending and have contact details before class participation.

 

LOCKDOWN SPECIAL - ONLY £5 per session!

 

* Bad weather may lead to cancellation. Other days and times available if sufficient demand - minimum 4 participants

 

 

The following fitness classes are currently on hold I hope to start some of them again after 25th July 2020, once suitable Covid Secure venues can be identified

 

FUSIONFITNESS

  • A non-impact class fusing moves from Strength, Pilates & Yoga classes
  • Establish sound movement patterns
  • Improve range, joint mobility and flexibility
  • Increase strength and aerobic capacity

 

 

HALF HOUR HIIT

  • High Intensity Interval Training
  • Involves impact
  • 45 minute class including warm up, stretching and cool down
  • Lose fat | build muscle | get fit – FAST

 

 

INDOOR CIRCUIT CLASS (SEDBERGH & KIRKBY STEPHEN)

  • A circuit class that focusses on total body fitness - aerobic, balance. coordination and strength. A one hour class

 

 

MOVE WELL | AGE BETTER

  • 45 minute daytime fitness class for individuals with limited mobility, balance issues or undergoing rehabilitation following injury.
  • Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
  • If you want to improve co-ordination and strength, in a supportive group, then this is the class for you.

 

 

BUGGY FIT

  • The 45 minute daytime fitness class where baby comes too!
  • Tone up, improve strength and aerobic capacity.
  • Work out with other mums and have FUN!
