Everyone's reasons for training is different. That's why, as a personal trainer, I take your individual requirements into consideration and create a training experience that corresponds directly to your expectations. I am here to give you the right advice to help you achieve exactly what you want. Why risk 'doing it yourself' and being in the same place next year... or worse still - injured!

I have a private studio training space at my home address for one-to one pre-booked appointments.

I also have an agreement with the People's Gym & Fitness Centre, here in Sedbergh, Cumbria, to use it's facilities for clients who are (or wish to become) members.

And, I also carry out personal training for clients at their homes.

One-to-One Personal Training

The classic training programme - Client and Trainer. The best way to get the individual focus you need to make the best progress to being a healthier you.

Double Deal

Not everyone likes to train alone. Sometimes it is helpful to have a friend with you - cheering each other on. No problem. Assuming you have similar goals, I can train and motivate both of you together. Experience has shown that having a friend along as a training partner motivates many clients to achieve more in their performances than they would alone.

Fitness Instruction - Movement and Rehabilitation

Injuries, major or minor, or even ramping up your exercise routines can have a dramatic impact on how your body functions - highlighting the importance of developing the correct functional movement patterns that help you to move forward.  By drawing on my sports massage training, and experience and combining that with advanced personal training education, I'm able to identify safe and effective training that can help to minimise the impacts of injury or overtraining, to be the best you can be.

Fitness Instruction - Body constitution, weight management and endurance

Together, we can improve your physical shape. By suggesting small developmental steps I can help you get you into the best shape of your life. This programme is ideal for all participants from beginers to experienced athletes - whether training for an event, an occupational requirement, a special occasion or simply to live a better more active life.

Fitness Instruction - Strength training

This can be home based or at an agreed fitness venue.  I pay attention to your posture and technique to make sure you do not get hurt. I am very focused on finding the right challenges and techniques for you. Ensuring you achieve a balanced and strong physique. The aim is to train and develop your muscles, not to destroy them.

Fitness and Nutrition - Feel Good from the inside out

I can offer the nutritional advice, support and encouragement to help you reach your goals as part of an exercise and physical activity programme. I analysis your current food and drink consumption, identify the steps you need to take to move in the right direction and support you all the way.

Helping you to make that positive change varies from client to client - from suggesting alternative foodstuffs and menu planning to supporting you with your food shopping choices and healthy cooking demonstrations!
